These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the SoberTimes mobile application. By downloading or using SoberTimes, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully — especially the medical disclaimer.
Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, signing in with Apple, or otherwise using SoberTimes, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
App Purpose & Medical Disclaimer
SoberTimes is a self-guided support tool for tracking sobriety and building healthy recovery habits. It is not a medical device, not a diagnostic tool, and not a substitute for professional medical advice, addiction treatment, therapy, or emergency care.
If you are in crisis or experiencing thoughts of self-harm, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) in the United States, or contact your local emergency services immediately. For substance use treatment referrals, contact SAMHSA's National Helpline at 1-800-662-HELP (4357).
Always consult a qualified healthcare provider regarding any medical condition or treatment decision.
User Responsibilities
- Provide accurate information when using the app.
- Keep your Apple ID secure and do not share access to your account.
- Use crisis resources appropriately and seek professional help when needed.
- Use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes and do not attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute it.
Intellectual Property
All content, design, text, graphics, code, and trademarks within SoberTimes are owned by SoberTimes or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not use, copy, or distribute any part of the app without our prior written permission.
Limitation of Liability
SoberTimes is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We make no guarantees about recovery outcomes, the accuracy of insights, or the uninterrupted availability of the service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SoberTimes and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
Termination
You may stop using SoberTimes at any time and delete your account and all associated data directly from within the app's Settings. We may suspend or terminate access to accounts that violate these terms.
Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida.
