Privacy Policy

HealthFaster ("we", "our", or "the app") is a mobile application for iOS that helps you run intermittent fasting protocols, track metabolic stages, and learn from your fasting history. This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the HealthFaster iOS app.

• Apple ID identity — when you Sign in with Apple, we receive an anonymized user identifier and, if you choose to share them, your name and a private relay email address.
• Fasting session data — the protocol you chose (16:8, 18:6, OMAD, custom), start and end times, and completion status of each fast.
• Symptom and check-in logs — hunger level, energy, mood, and any notes you record during a fast.
• HealthKit data (with your permission only) — weight, heart rate, active energy, and step count read from and written to Apple Health. This data stays on your device.
• Notification preferences — the milestones and reminders you opt in to receive.
• Subscription status — whether you have an active HealthFaster premium subscription, as reported by Apple. We do not see or store your payment details.

We do not collect device location, contacts, photos, or third-party advertising identifiers.

HealthKit data is the most sensitive information HealthFaster touches, and we treat it accordingly:

• HealthKit data is read and written on-device only.
• HealthKit data is never transmitted to our servers, third parties, advertising networks, or AI providers.
• We never use HealthKit data for marketing, advertising, or data-broker purposes, in keeping with Apple's HealthKit requirements.
• You can revoke HealthFaster's access to HealthKit at any time from iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices.

HealthFaster includes an optional AI coaching feature that offers personalized guidance based on your fasting patterns. When you use this feature:

• Prompts sent to our AI provider are anonymized and stripped of identifying information.
• No HealthKit data, real name, email, or Apple user identifier is included in AI requests.
• AI providers process requests under contractual data-protection obligations and are not permitted to use your data to train their models.

We use the information described above solely to operate HealthFaster — running your fasting timers, displaying metabolic stages, charting progress and streaks, sending the milestone notifications you opt in to, and personalizing AI coaching.

• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not share your data with advertisers.
• We do not use your data to train external AI models.

Push notifications are entirely opt-in. You can grant or revoke notification permission at any time from iOS Settings → Notifications → HealthFaster, or by toggling notification categories inside the app.

HealthFaster premium subscriptions (monthly and annual) are processed entirely through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Apple handles all payment information. HealthFaster receives only your subscription status (active, expired, or in a trial period) so we can unlock premium features.

Your fasting history and logs are retained while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account inside the app. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

Depending on where you live, you may have specific rights regarding your personal data, including:

• The right to access the personal data we hold about you.
• The right to correct inaccurate data.
• The right to delete your data (the "right to be forgotten").
• The right to export your data in a portable format.
• The right to opt out of the sale of personal data — which we do not do regardless.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email below or use the in-app deletion and export tools.

HealthFaster is intended for users aged 13 and older, with health tracking features recommended only for users 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
